Who is responsible for your data

Static codes stay in your browser
When you build a static code, the payload is encoded and rendered locally. We do not receive, log or store the URL, WiFi password or contact details you type into the generator, and no account is required.
What we store for your account
If you create an account we store your email address, a hashed password or federated identity reference, your workspace name and your plan status. That is the whole set.
What a dynamic scan records
A scan of a dynamic code records the code identifier, a timestamp, the coarse country derived from the IP address, the device category and the referrer when the browser sends one. We do not store the full IP address, do not set advertising cookies and do not build cross-site profiles of scanners.
Retention
Scan events are kept for 24 months and then deleted. Aggregated daily counts may be kept longer because they contain no per-scan detail. Deleting a code deletes its scan history within 30 days.
Processors
We use Supabase for database hosting and authentication, Vercel for application hosting and edge redirects, and a payment provider for subscription billing. They act as processors under contract, may not use your data for their own purposes, and are limited to the regions we configure. Because we are established in the United States, transfers of personal data outside the EEA rely on standard contractual clauses with these providers.
Your rights
You can export or delete your workspace data at any time from settings, or by writing to support@qreator.tech. Where GDPR applies you also have the right to correct your data, restrict processing and lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
